Have had this Es2 about 4 years and it runs really well !Thought i would have the head off to check valves etc alls well a slight pocketing of valve seats other than that no problems !
Hi there. I wonder if someone can help me. I bought a Norton Jubilee which had been partly restored but unfortunately with bits from other bikes. I have managed to source most bits but it had the wrong centre stand.
I am about to refurbish an oil pump as part of my 650SS engine rebuild. I believe I have the correct pump for a non pressure rocker feed engine as it is a three start drive with wider gears. I am interested in the stampings on the pump:

I'm looking for the above spring for a friend of mine (a NOC member, but without a computer), the gearbox is fitted to a 1929 Model 18 and the spring is the only thing he has left to find before he can finish the bike.

Had a great ride on my ES2 at the weekend but managed to lose one of the nuts that holds the rocker box cover plate in place.
The inlet valve clearances on my 650SS are widening quite dramatically, to the point where I have run out of adjustment on one valve. They can increase by .015" within 50 miles. Readjust them, and the same thing happens.
Any ideas?
Hi. i have fitted a 932 concentric carb to my es2 500cc this fits the intake ok size wise just wondered if someone could tell me what the jet sizes for the main/pilot/needle should be. also which slide to use .Baz

I have bought a Commando from USA and on the US title it states it is a 1968 this is plainly wrong as the frame no is 138130 and club records confirm it as a 1970 Roadster.

I have a restored Interstate Mk2A with genuine Lucas indicators, but they all have "Long" shafts / stalks.

Just started to rebuild my 605SS engine after needing to repaint after being hit from behind by a 4x4 driver.
I am going to fit a replacement barrel as the current barrel is cracked at the bottom of the skirt.
I am wondering if the 1955 International could be ordered with the engine in manx race trim from the factory? If,what is the difference from a standard International from the same year?
