What dia should the front pipe be where it meets the silencer,I have looked in several books but it does not give this size?It's for a 1962 Norton Dommi 600cc SS.

Recently I got a barn find norton 1955 wideline alloy head bike. It was lying down in a room for more than 30years. It was converted to cafe racer during 60s.
Hi new here ,I have just purchased a 1970 commando done like an S type and the previous owner has spent a fortune on engine rebuilds ect but has omitted to do the isolastics which are really slack.
Hi. I believe it is possible to fit an electric start kit on a 1972 (combat) but wonder if anyone has done this and if so what would be the best kit to fit, also would the electrics/stator require an upgrade?

I've been running a Mk 111 Commando with a Phoenix HIF6 SU carb for many years. It has given excellent service but does result in popping on overrun which for some reason I'm starting to find irritating and a bit anti social.
Has anybody here converted a pre featherbed (in my case a Model 19rigid) to Commando sealed bearings?
if so, what is involved?
Is a spacer necessary?

Bike was running OK & then backfired & died (thankfully as I pulled up at my garage. Plugs badly carboned, replaced same thing. With great difficulty got it started but not running well & then would not start at all.

a friend has asked me to order him a +60 piston & rings for his '47 ES2. When searching I find some companys only list for '56-'59 model years, part number 13346 Hepolite cross ref.
I don't seem to be able to get the taps to seel properly on my International. It is the join between the large 'cup' and the bottom of the tank that is permenantly leaking out past the threads.

I've recentely purchased a 73 850 and the side stand was missing. The boss where they stand mounts is intact and I purchased a kit from RGM Norton but the point where the spring attaches to the frame has been rigged.
Iâm putting together a commando cafe racer and now need to sort out the electrics.
I have a complete blank canvas but already possess a boyer micro digital ignition system and power box which Iâd like to use.
Can anyone tell me the spring rates for the Atlas ? Also the color codes on the springs if possible.
