Afternoon all. I've got a 1972 Combat 750 Interstate that I find uncomfortable to ride, the problem is annoying enough for me to be planning to sell it. It has non standard bars ( slightly lower ) and standard pegs.
Does anyone know if these `fuel catalyst octane booster tablet/capsules` work? They are supposed to have a life of 250,000 miles,but do the work?

Does anyone know if the cigar shaped silncers as fitted to a '59 '88' are still available please, i have only seen the later ones which bump up at the top just behind the front pipe connection, thanks

Any advice on my 'sticky forks' ? After a long total rebuild (32years, don't ask) I have finally got my Atlas working again. I bought new fork stanchions, bushes and seals a while ago (15yrs+)and fitted them.
I've had my ES2 for about a month now and with a bit of advice from Mike Pemberton have hopefully sorted the oil leaks from the pushrod tubes, although I have had difficulty in finding out who can supply seals of the correct type but silicon seams
I have acquired a fully restored 1948 ES2 but am having some problems and hope people more familiar with Nortons will be able to provide some advice.
At the risk of alienating other lightweight twin owners, I wonder if it's worth the cost to change my leaking, smelly Monobloc 375 for a new Amal Concentric MkII?

The twin carb's on my 54' Domi racer are causing a few problems. The slides close easily when the engine is not running. With the engine running, any light opening of the throttle causes them to stick open.
Just had some machine dating info returned from Chris. On the sheet my Model 20 came from the factory with a panel mount instrament and a dyna gearchange.
I am restoring a 1966 650SS dominator and I am looking for the orignal paint colour code for the petrol tank. the colour I am refering to is the same as the 650SS featured on the NOC website under model's ( dark graphite silver metallic).
did the featherbed bolt up framehave any weakness or was it just ease of production that caused the introduction of the all welded frame and what year did this occurr please.
Folks - I have a decision to make, and I would apoppreciate the views of anyone who has had similar experiences of their bike.
