Canada calling. A good friend passed away before completing his Atlas/Fatherbed/Jet 80 sidecar outfit On behalf of the family I have taken on the project. Part of the challenge is this is a right hand sidecar which presents its own problems. In particular the kick start fouls a normal position for the lower rear bracket which means it will have to be extended back in a dog leg to clear. So far so good. But what is the recommended lower frame bracket fitting point. This would be applicable to both right and left hand sidecar mounts. It looks as if the only place to fit the bracket will be to an extended swing arm pivot bolt, but the frame plate area looks very fragile. Eric Oliver made it work so there is hope. Any advice will be appreciated.
