lady's and gentlemen I'm building a Triton of which has a TLS front brake assembly, I was wondering what held the front air vent grill on they look to be welded rivets.
I am about to order new clutch plates, but I see on the Norvil website that I require 5 friction plates.
I've had a problem with my Oxford heated grips failing to switch off. Looking at various forums it appears that the controller is the offending item. The Version 6 and 7 tend to fail and the fix is the version 8. £29 or therabouts.

I have just obtained an original copy of Motor Cycling, March 12, 1959 which carried the first roadtest of the new Norton Jubilee (XOH 147).
Does anyone know if there is a way of refurbing the metal tank badges or do they just have to be replaced? It looks like they were chromed so i suppose they can't be polished.

I have removed the timing cover on my mk2a Commando fitted with Rita Ignition, consequently will need to re time the ignition when replacing said cover. Any tips for setting up would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm getting perilously close to getting the engine back together on my Jubilee! - but as I tipped it up Inoticed oil drained from the crank case into the clutch case from behing the primary sprocket.
That I was the only Norton on the Distinguished Gentlemans ride in Sheffield on Sunday..next year get yerselfs sorted please...its for a good cause.

Could anyone out there tell me what the rocker arm lift ratio is for the late OHV singles made by Norton, not the AMC engined models. No particular reason, just curious.
