AMC gearbox problems
My 1057 Dommie 99 jumps out of bottom gear frequently, and also the box loses oil. Can I remedy this with the box in the frame, and if not, can I remove the box without taking the engine out?

Anyone looking for an international motor? 1951 model on ebay in the states the guy is looking for about £5600 and is willing to ship.
I have a 1951 Norton ES2 500cc. A sketch in my parts catalogue shows an 80 MPH speedometer as being fitted. I have searched through numerous photographs of 'original' machines and some have 120 MPH and others have the 80 MPH fitted.
Does anyone know if the 500T fork yokes were fitted to any other model? I thought someone told me that they may have been fitted to plunger internationals.

I have been slowly gathering bits in order to put together a lightweight single cylinder street scrambler that will loosely bear some resemblance to the look of the N15 / P11 twins.

I have a query regarding best practice when starting an engine with the Amal 10tt9 carb. The knurled adjustment for air screw; is it expected to be altered during starting? I run without a kickstart and use a roller starter.
Hi, sourcing some parts for a standard Jubilee (1965) is proving a bit difficult - namely front & rear mudguards.
I am re-starting work on my 850 having gone through the electrics. I have checked the timing staticallly, have new fuel, and a good spark with 12V plus at the new coils but it will not fire up.
Found this on the interweb....nothing to do with me, just thought it might interest somebody here...
