Just wondering if any other NOC members are having troubles with ordering parts online. It seems it is a little buggy for me. My default operating system is iOS and no luck. I tried my wife's Windows OS and no luck.

Hello, I read somewhere that once grit gets into an oil tank that's it's near impossible to get it all out and after a week of flushing out this seems to be true.
The forks on my 39 are the girders with limiting springs. I'm in the process of putting the forks back together after checking, cleaning, etc.The check springs are adjustable in length, and I have found no info anywhere on how to set them up.

My new commando notes book has arrived. Its a shame that the commando R is missing from 1969 notes. The Commando R was the stop gap bike which led to the roadster. There were only about 650 made and most went to Canada and America.

The fork leg drain screws are slightly chewed as they were REALLY tight, so I thought, blow the expense, lets buy some new ones.
Andover Norton say part number 060354 is Fork Slider Drain Screw (UNC)
