So, having had a binding problem with my front brake in the end I decided to bite the bullet and buy & fit the RGM master cylinder upgrade. Doing the machining tested the capabilities of my little set up but I got there in the end.
Hello again, So while fidgeting with the shaft issue as previous posted, I rotated my wheel forward in gear and the kicker shaft is rotating in the opposite direction. Could I assume the lay shaft bearing is spent or the pawl/detent is phuqed?

Would anyone have an old (upright gearbox kick start shaft) laying around, mine is pretty knackered. Reasonable price? I have seen one for a 16H or a commando? on EBay from India...will this work on mine? Thanks.
beginning to hate this bike! I'm having trouble finding what parts work/don't work and manuals that tell "Jack" about what is what...sorry for the rant just want to ride it. shipping: Nebraska 68037.
We're all familiar with the two recommended torques for tightening Commando cylinder head bolts. And it's always possible to hear that there are still leaks here and there.
What if there was a third one just like the one in the attached file? What do you all think about it?
