As the owner of a 1959 Dommie 99, I was wondering, due to the demise of Castrolite, what is the modern equivalent. Ifound motorcycle/scooter fork oil(5W30) on Halfords web site, does anybody have any recomendations.
Could anyone help me source a wiring loom for my 1956 ES2, I have seen one advertised on EBAY for a Mod 7 and 77, I also have a 1957 Model 77 and would think it is the same but would be very grateful for any advice

Hi i have renewed my clutch plates there are now 4 friction and 5 steel plates. 2 clutch plates less in the basket than there was .

I plan to purchase 1963 Norton Slimline and cofused with the engine number which read as 88/105440/P. This is something new to me as owner of Norton Model 7 & Wideline which has different format of numberings.
I've just cleaned out around two inches of sludge out of the oil tank. Now I'm thinking that the engine may benefit from an angine flush. Has anyone done this before?

Which brand of ATF is best for my primary chain case Mk3, some ATF oilsare nowsyntheticie shell dexron 3 so presume this is not recommend.
Any recommendations welcome.

Hi, I am just rebuilding the forks on my 1959 Model 59 and putting them together there seems to be a space of about 1" between the top of the damper rod and the bottom of the fork stanchiontop nut. Is this normal?

Is it possible for a newwiring loom to be faulty! After restoring both a Jubillee and an Electra with new looms and Boyer ignition I still have problems. The Jubilee works fine not so the Electra.
I have not recieved this months Roadholder and I know some people have got theirs.

for years I have had a leak free primary due to the liberal use of silicone sealer between the rubber and case inner.After some repairs to the drive I found myself really struggling with cleaning off the silicone from the inner case.

I have removed my primary chain case cover and want to get to the backfire device? How do I get the bike in gear so i can undo rotor nut or do i have to put it all back together place in gear then take apart again?
