ES2 rear chain adjuster
When I tighten up the left side rear wheel nut the axle bears on the chain adjuster which bends up allowing the wheel to move forward on the left. Any ideas how to overcome this? On my third adjuster in twelve months!

Last years Norton Festival in Devon was the first time I had camped at a rally, having alway stayed in hotels or B&B's before. Because we went in a van I was able to take a fairly cheap tent thats quite big when packed up.
I am having real trouble fitting a belt drive from RGM. The shafts just will not align. I have the RGM double adjuster and I have tried pulling the gearbox back with the left hand one.

I notice on the above gear (the crank gear) that it has three keyway slots at approx 120deg, spacing. Why? John

My April 2015, 961SF digital clock cannot keep time, losing about 30 minutes a day. The ODO can also play up on occasion either gaining or losing 25 miles parked in the garage overnight! The bike is fited with a CAT1 Datatool alarm immobiliser.

The 67 Atlas has spent too long covered in wood shavings. It was hastilly thrown together for my son to try a classic bike but is a rough old dog.I have found a deep valenced mudguard for it but need a bridge,stays and shaped washers.
Just purchased a 1976 Commando 850 and the clocks need some attention.Any ideas who would refurbish speedo (at present reading about 20 mph below actual speed) and the rev counter is off bike with a pattern one fitted.

I'm looking for help in identification of a cylinder head. The top of the rocker area at the rear has 22707 S, and the bottom face area has 23166 BMC. It looks like a Commando cylinder head, but could it be Atlas ?

The non-original horn on my recently purchased 1946 16H has packed up.
If possible I would like to fit a new horn to match the original.
Nearing completion on my model 50 build and I have the proverbial 'bag of bits' for a timing cover. I can't seem to find a decent exploded view of where all the bits go.
I have just got my 72 750 Commando back on the road after 2 years and rode to the Ace Cafe from my home in North London. Ver satisfactory indeed. On my way back at the lighte next to Highgate tube on the A1 I spied a 961 on the pavement.
Paul Bradley mentions a battery conditioner appenntly helped extend the life of his battery on his 961, Paul which conditioner did you buy?

The clutch on my 650SS is heavy.... I've checked the routing of the cable which has no tight bends. It's a new lined cable so I have lubed it with silicone spray only.
This afternoon I took my Model 19 rigid for a pre Ireland test run, and I am pretty happy with it. Just got to put the camping gear and luggage on it now.
