Negative or Postive ?
Fitting a Tri-Spark MRK-0001 to my Dommi 88 . I have no wiring on the new build at present and wondered what is the best connection to use Negative or Positive ? Is there a preference ?

So today I lost the bakelite knob. It's not the first time.
Has anyone been enterprising and changed it for a decent key switch off, on, on with pilot, on with main. Any that can be recommended?
Royal Enfield Bullet alternators look very like the unencapsulated Lucas ones on Nortons. Would one fit? They are cheap and certainly effective - the one on my 1998 Bullet works a treat.

"People say" spark plug polarity is important. But:
1) Why? If the spark is at say 10,000 volts, why should adding or subtracting 12 volts matter?
Is it possible to buy new rubber seals, grub screws etc?
Mine vibrated off today - luckily fell into the space behind the headlight so was able to refit once I found an Allen key that fitted. However the rubber seal is really brittle.
Does anybody know why an ignition coil gets hot.
I was running my Dominator just off the battery, and it got really warm, it's a MA12coil 12v battery.
Also does anybody know what i can do to fix this.
