Around 1989/90 my dad & I built up an ES2 from parts, it was based around a1959 wideline frame and same year engine although not matching. The bike was registered PSU 970 and although looked correct to the untrained eye it did have quite a few quirks with it being a bitza e.g. alloy guards (tickle front), first generation wideline tank with the butterfly type cap, late model oil tank with breather tower etc. I sold it to a local chap in the early 90's and tried to track it down a few years ago but he had sold it to someone in England. Obviously as the years pass by I regret terribly selling this bike and would simply like to know if it is still on the go and does anyone in the club know it's whereabouts? I would happily buy it back if it ever came available but would be content just being able to catch up with it again and perhaps keep tabs on it's whereabouts incase it ever came on the market in the future.
