Check out Paul Wulf in the Services Section. He repaired my Magneto for half the price quoted by any of the other BIG names. The work done was of the highest quality and 4 years and many miles later I am still getting huge fat sparks at the plugs.

Thoroughly recommended.

Well Guys I do Magnetos and Dynamos rebuilds and I did mine On the Manxman and My 54 dominator these all now work very well , and I can magnetize them too, I buy in parts from Devon Inderpendant Ignitions and they do rebuild as well but there not cheap, buy any-means, I only charge for parts and postage. Why not send your magneto to Brightspark? They do a very comprehensive over haul, and also move the internal capacitor from the windings to the contact breaker. I have had six of my magneto's over hauled by Ken at Brightspark. They also have a very comprehensive web site.

Hi Guys

I agree with Antony, I had great service from Ken at Brightspark.

A full diagnostic report and reasonable quote and the mag returned promptly which has transformed the starting of the bike (650 ss)

Cheers Brian.

I too can recommend Brightspark. I rebuild Magnetos in the USA & I contacted them a while back about their Magneto condensers that install at the points where they are easily access able, rather than in the traditional location buried inside the armature. I now only use their condensers & am extremely happy with their products & service.

Hi,Sadly Ken from Brightspark passed away in September and Lesley is handling the spares side and Bill (Kens business partner is still repairing mags in France) and i agree that their Easycap condensers are very good and i stock them and fit them to magnetos when requested by the customer.I have been rewinding coils for Brightspark for the last 3 years and continue to do so.Paul Wolf.07831446958

So sad to hear about Ken. He (and Paul I now know) did wonders for a pair of magnetos for me two years ago.
