Putting valves springs back on, I'm wondering if I'm going to need a third or more hand?
Should I put both springs in the same time? Or will it be OK one by one?
Means that I'll probably need another homemade pliers I used to take them off?
What's the trick to put them back on without throwing parts all over the shed?

I've always used a normal valve spring compressor and fitted both at once, but you can only do that with the head off.

Nice tool, thank you for the drawings.
A friend just used a square tube to do the same job on his Saturno.
Fits like a glove and make the job real easier.

You can put them in one at a time. Cammy Nortons have run with one broken. Remember the race riders in the 30's used to carry spare springs, wired closed, so they could push one in by hand at the roadside and snip the wire. Some owners still carry them, wired onto the front downtube of their Single's frame (for the look?). Valve spring wire has improved since then.
