Evening all, having parted the crank of a 99 Dominator I would like to lighten it I just wondered if anyone had any ideas or experince in this area.
Coulda engineer carefulldrill holes throught the walls of the fly wall?

Ive just replaced the enormous torpedo silencer on the Inter with a Manx Megaphone, erm, amplifier!
does anyone have some baseline carb settings, jetting etc I might employ to begin with ? It's a TT carb, of course!
I've been playing with my ES2 today as I wasn't happy with the performance; it went flat at about 55 in top and wouldnât pull past this speed.
Yesterday after a long deliberation, I attended a pre-arrannged Factory Tour of Norton. It's a reatively small operation and very busy.
I am having trouble with the lack of a frame number , but noticed that the top rail where the tank sits on , on the right hand side is pushed in on the inside of the frame to the rear section of the rail for about one foot .
For all the people who are thinking of purchasing one of these machines & think that Stuart Garner has gotten over all the issues with this bike, think again.
This season my electra has started to wet sump.

A 1967 Dommi 650ss has come into my possession. With an engine number of 18SS-120794/P and a frame number 18-120791 the numbers differ by three! Anybody have any ideas how this could have come about?
I have a slight chance of getting a big four are they a fun bike. Would just like some views on the machine
I don't currently own a Norton, but wiith the costs of acquiring and running Commandos increasing (£10K for a Commando?) and used values of the 961 apparently falling (£12K?) the 961 might appeal.
Hello all. I need an alloy centre stand for a 1936 garden gate inter (NOT the sucide type that open the wrong way). I seem to remember someone was making these a few years ago but can't remember who it was. Can anyone help ?

Reparing a 1945 ES2 gearbox, a bronze? case and after giving it a good clean up I see a pretty long crack a long the iner cover.
Here is a photo.
What would be the top speed of these two models is there any advantage in the 19s being 600cc. I am only asking as I am thinking about trying to get one of thse bikes when comes up .

This is a simple one I hope. I am looking to replace the tired cheese head screws securing the timing cover on my 62 Dommi.
Is the above brass or bronze? Going to Founders Day tommorow so will buy suitable material to make. I belive the end float should be approx 1/32inch, What is the thickness of a new one? John
The 1960 99c has 12v electrics ,RM15 zener and 2 MC cap. Its been charging fine for the last 20 odd years of light use. Over the last few weeks I have not treated the bike with the respect its old age deserves.
