I have a RGM oil filter kit which is the same as a number of suppliers use.
Does anybody know what replacment filter number fits. I think a FRAM PH---- and sure others fit as well like a 2CV. Help

I have recently purchased a bike with a 48 Model 18 engine in what believe is an earlier frame and forks. The frame is a straight tube diamond stamped 79740( no prefix) and the girder forks are stamped 71172.
More than once I have wished I could purchase parts books from the NOC shop electronically. These are copies rather than a bound book, so I assume they could be easily stored & released once payment was made?

Hi looking at the 961 i cant help thinking it was made to have a fairing fitted .a bit like the tt bike i suppose with it being air cooled they cant fit one. Baz

Hi i am nearing the end of rebuilding my 1959 Model 50 and am wondering what oil i should put in it and whether to fit a cartridge type oil filter.
when i needed a set of barrels and pistons for my triumph engine in my triton i went out and purchased a set fitted them all ok no problem at all no smoke pistons bed in ok all fine .
Can anyone tell me whether the same type front pipes are used for 'peashooter' and 'black cap' type silencers and are the brackets the same?

quick question. Haynes manual says use champion N5 plugs. Can only find N5C plugs. Are they the same?

If anyone has their plunger Inter apart and can measure the length of the 2 outer wheel spacers, it will enable me to make them. No one in my neighborhood to ask. See attached diagram with arrows.

Hello people, this may seem an odd post. I am looking to buy, restore and use a British classic bike. Im a 60s child so i grew up on Japanese multis. Im now 49 and have now grown out of rice burners.
Have ridden the new Sport a few times now and find it a little heavy and not as manoeuverable as my last rotary but I am sure this is me bedding in to the bike and I have not ridden for a few years.
RGM supplied me with some silicon rubber rocker cover gaskets some years ago. They have been great, not leaking a drop of oil. I removed the covers recently and I found that the gaskets were starting to disintegrate.
Hi I have just aquired after a long wait a Mk111 comando 1977 and as she has been standing for a while has a few minor issues most of which are straightforward others not so!
As soon as some temperature comes into my machine the clutch starts to drag and am unable to clear a gear. It's a 37 close ratio non kickstart dolls head box. My question is.... Do they have a ball bearing between the "Mushroom"and transfer rod?

I just received the factory record for my Norton in the post today. Next I would like to find information about the agent it was ordered from. The Agent was "Eichler of Vienna".
Difficult to engage 1st when standing still. Makes a graunching noise but will go eventually or down to 2nd and then back to 1st ok. No problems when moving.
Can I adjust it?
The engine has recently been rebuilt but there is a leak from the top end. It seems to gather on the top of the cylinder head. From the quantity and pattern it almost feels like it is coming out under pressure. Any ideas please?
Can anyone explain why the push rod tubes rubber seals are so deep? Is there a lot of expansion? My '55 ES2 has custom made tubes which are longer to accommodate "O" rings in an attempt to stop leaks.
Hi all,need a bit of advice from the gearbox guru"s. I have a 49 500t that has a tombstone gearbox fitted and was wondering if i can simply change the end cover and inner cover and replace it with the correct dolls head type that it should have.
I received my 961 Sport last week. When I started it the clutch rattle was horrendous BUT soon settled down, I guess it needed oil.
