Painting the 99SS

Forums

The bike would have gone to the painters some time ago except the paint codes from the NOC site (Dove and Polychromatic Grey) simply aren't known on this side of the Atlantic (Canada) so I've had to order paint from RS paints that my painter will match. The cost of shipping.... Anyway, there seems no point to repainting the inner primary cover, it will never show, or will it? The bike is now in pieces and I can't remember whether any of it did when it was together and it's the only one I know of around here - but I'm wondering what colour it was painted originally? Does anyone know? The one I have is black.

thanks, Bruce

I don't believe the 99SS was ever imported here, mine was brought over by it's owner years ago. Well I'm hoping the RS colours will do, I don't want to spring for additional paint from someone else. It cost quite a bit to ship even a small qantity.

"Nu-again paints will match your own colour"... I don't have any colours! The bike was all black.
