Lock limiter on Dominator

Forums

I swapped my 7 inch forks for 7-3/8 but now there is nothing to prevent the forks hitting the tank. The old lock limiter no longer works. I have uploaded pictures of the old and new yokes. Does anyones have a photo or diagram of the lock limiter for these other forks (with no lumps below to hit the lock limiter). I am willing to make one.

Jonathan, you need RGM part No 050514 but be prepared to weld a tiny blob of stainless on each corner. I had to on 2 out of 3 of mine. It is very close to the tank so try it out with just the bottom fixing screw first as the top hole is a bit of a bug*er.

Your earlier steering stop is excellent for the 7" centresbut will miss the stops on the bottom yolk on the 7 3/8.

I took a look. It is an expensive item, also there is no picture. I hope I am not a bad sport for wanting to make my own. I am retired and there is a definite limit to what I can buy.

Has anyone noticed the page crashes when you try to add a second photo?

I have successfully uploaded the second picture to the original posting with not a sign of a page crash.

Would one of you who experienced this please e-mail me outlining the exact steps you took when this happened and I will hand it on to our web site designer to investigate.

Jonathan sent me the sequence he was using and I have reproduced the effect. When adding more than one image, it seems that it is necessary to add just the one and then post the comment. Once that has been done, the comment can be edited and subsequent images added.

What is rather unhelpful is the command line there which suggests you can add more than one image at the outset. It doesn't work, but we have no way of programming it out.
