Hoping to find help regarding my plunger frame 1950 ES2 centerstand spring. I've just received a new spring from my good friend & Norton buddy in the UK, part no. A2/527. Measuring center to center on the attachment holes is 6 inches.
I have had an enquiry asking if anyone knows of an electric start conversion for an ES2. Can anyone help?
Follow up from previous post re: 1964 650SS.......Note no 'Steering Stop Plate' ass't / illustraton, so can someone please assist?

Having just purchased a timing cover with tacho gearbox fixing arrangement for my 600 Dominator, I have found that the two holes for bolting the gearbox to the cover are not tapped, on the inside of the cover there are two recesses that look like

1. Alloy tanks and seats - the RGM ones look good, but I don't know anyone who has fitted one.
2. Whether ethanol affects alloy petrol tanks
Does anyone know the bearing dimensions (and part references) for the oilite bushings in the Prestolite starter motor.
I know the drive end dims, but I'd like to find out about the cap (brush) end bearing.

Hi i am having trouble removing the rotor nut on the end of the crankshaft , on a commando 750 i have followed the work shop manual , in puting her in gear and the back brake full on , It will not shift anticlock wise i have used plenty of wd 40 a

Recently I bought RGM's large bore exhaust pipes and silencers, which should utilise standard brackets. The ones I recieved are not even close to the brakets (see attached picture).

I have a 1954 Norton ES2. The rear end piece of the mudguard is missing.
I would really apprecieate help to find that piece.
The mudguard is hinged.

HELP.....I'm on a mission overhauling my much loved and ridden big 4 1952. Amongst other worn out parts I've discovered that the hardening has worn through on an inletvalve lifter and the guides are worn.
