Slimline swinging arm
Should the nuts on the swinging arm spindle(silent bloc rubberbearing type) be tightended up with just the weight of the bike on the suspension or should they be tightended up with the bike on the suspension plus a rider ??

I recently restored a 1971 Commando, ground up restoration. I took it out for the first run about two weeks ago and the vibration was bad enough that my hands were numb.
Stupid thing! I asked if anyone out there in Nortonland had any experience with the Shorai batteries, according to the sales pitch, they are better than sliced bread.
