Can anyone recommend a firm to refurbish the seat (cover and base) of my 1971 Roadster please? I am in Hampshire.
Thanks very much.
HELP.....I'm on a mission overhauling my much loved and ridden big 4 1952. Amongst other worn out parts I've discovered that the hardening has worn through on an inletvalve lifter and the guides are worn.
I found this an interesting read.
Greetings,Does anyone know if a MK 2 crank will fit in MK3 c/cases? I know the drive side crank shaft/pin is longer due to sprag clutch set up, but what about width/depth/height? Thanks!
Take a look at this.
Don't know where my first post has gone!

Has anyone else found themselves in the same situation as me? I went to lookat a Manx last week with a view to buying it and I was interested to find out where it was first sold when new.
I am setting up the ignition and struggling to get an even tickover, examination of the rear of the points carrier plate shows that the auto advance weights are hitting the back (of the points plate).
Have only just become a member in the last 2 weeks so go easy on me...have just purchased a 1961 ss dominator 500cc.....I am encountering a slight hiccup upon acceleration...tickover is fine....high revs are fine with the odd blip now and again...
Sorry about starting a new thread but when I tried to update the previous one I keep getting error messages for some reason. I have discovered that the problem seems to be electrical and it is getting worse.

I have all the parts to re-build my 1953 ES2 with the exception of a seat.
Iâve a Mk II 850 with a Mikuni carb conversation, has anybody experienced the top of the carb (slider) undoing and of course raising the revs when you come to a stop, Iâve tightened it several times but seems to vibrate loose again, this happened
Excuse the callow question, but how does one get the rear chain adjustment right on a plunger framed ES2? Do you just make the adjuster bolts the same length i.e. the same amount of exposed thread ? If you've got one, how do you personally do it?
Hi there - I am new to Nortons although I have had AJS's for many years (sorry) - I have just purchased a 1954 ES2 swing arm that has not been used for 40 odd years and so am going to rebuild itusing as many of the original parts as possible.
The ES solenoid/relay on my Mk 3 has started jamming on occasionally when starting the bike. Its quite a frightening problem - has anyone else got any experience of this?
cheers

I've just acquired an old flywheel and the two cheek plates for a Norton twin, understanding they were for a 750 Atlas?? Commando. The flywheel has the part number 06 0732 cast into it.

Hi all,
What other Norton Commando tank could I fit to my '72 roadster to gain more miles between petrol stations?
Thanks and regards - Paul.
