Hi all - I'm rather tempted by the Norvil Electric Starter kit. It comes complete with a 180w Single Phase alternator. My 850Mk2A has a 3-phase alternator wired to a Boyer 3-phase Powerbox controller i.e.
Hi fellow dismantlers. Can anyone recommend a sprocket puller for a dommie 99? Unlike the commando there are no bolt holes in my engine primary chain sprocket so can't use the usual 06-4297 tool.

So....I managed to take the plungers apart, tracked down a supplier of shrouds via internet and waited almost a month from ordering, paying and for nothing to turn up and me cancelling order from Classicbritishmotorcycles ( would not recommend) I
Well folks, now that the model 77 project is done (except the front fender), its time for the next project! While at the Empire rally in New York USA this summer I found myself talking to Phil Radford who Owns Fair Spares USA.
With respect to the current owner.
I am continually astounded at the barefaced audacity of some people who offer for sale machines that are not 'fit for purpose'.
I thought that might get yourattention! My sister saw an ad in "in Style " magazine, September issue that has a nice cafe comando with a Gus Kuhn tank.

Why does no one read the history of Norton bikes and start to learn about there origins, too much about modern day bikes and not enough knowledge of past Models, I worked on bikes back in the early 1960's and know what bikes were around back then,

Thought I would put the Commando in to see and it says 35 850's and 57 750's in 2011.
I was wondering if there is a need on here for a place for new people to introduce themselves and to be welcomed by others, nothing technical just a way of meeting new friends.I am in Oxford and wondered if there is anyone from my area on here?Tha
