for some strange reason my 850 mk 3 has just suddenly started to smoke horrendously !
and all the oil has disappeared from the oil tank and appears to be in the cylinders
the plugs are horrendously oily
Coming down the gear box as I slow down and only from second to first, when I push for neutral or on to first, it feels like itâs already in first gear and the lever pushes down but no gear to select.
All other selections are fine.
If you are quick, you may just see a Manxman on ebay with a front wheel on the back and a back wheel on the front. I couldn't believe what I was looking at.
Anyone got theirs yet?
On page 78 of Bacons Norton Buyers guide there is a picture of a Dunstall Dominator. Can anyone tell me what type of front hub it has? Also can anyone point me at more pictures of the same.

Which I guess would normally be OK - but my bike ('72 Roadster) has a belt drive, so every 1000 miles I take off the primary drive cover and mop out a few cc's of engine oil.
I think its coming from the crank seal.

I have just acquired a rather nice 1947 Model 18 fitted with a 1949 ES engine.
Although fitted with a standard exhaust the bike has come with a Brooklands can.
Just for the fun of it I fitted it today ... what a sound!
Like Eugene I have also completedmy 1960 Dominator, and I now have a new project on the table, you may have seen it on ebay, it is the 1957 Dominator with all matching numbers and an old log book. I think I will need 1 or 2 touch up pens.

As one who has been riding since the early 50's (before the many of our members were born), it amuses me to see the arguments about the above.
I need a pair of new coil for my commando, I have see an add from the VMCC thay have Emgo coils @ £14.50 and Lucas @ £20.50.
Has any oneused the Emgo ones with good results or are the Lucas any better ?
