hello

for some strange reason my 850 mk 3 has just suddenly started to smoke horrendously !

and all the oil has disappeared from the oil tank and appears to be in the cylinders

the plugs are horrendously oily

If you are quick, you may just see a Manxman on ebay with a front wheel on the back and a back wheel on the front. I couldn't believe what I was looking at.

hi,anyone know how to set up the valve timing and ignition timing on my 1935 big 4 model 1 633cc side valve? engine was in boxes and nothing marked.exhaust cam has eu 14 1/2 p on it,inlet cam has19 p on it.all my books are useless.

New project

Like Eugene I have also completedmy 1960 Dominator, and I now have a new project on the table, you may have seen it on ebay, it is the 1957 Dominator with all matching numbers and an old log book. I think I will need 1 or 2 touch up pens.

Relatively new to classic bikes (started with an Indian Enfield last autumn) and have recently become the proud owner of a 1973 Commando 850 Interstate -- first Norton, first British twin.

I have an 850 commando and have just picked up two heads 1 was listed as a combat head the other was listed as 750/850 ,they look the same .The combat (?) has a lot shaved off the head surface ,same valves ,32mm inlet ports with a "C" stamped on t
