1962 650SS silencer

Forums

I am working on a 1962 650SS, could anyone help me identify the Silencers fitted to it. They are not the usual kind of silencers i am used to .

Does anyone know what years these were fitted to ?

Early SS Nortons both 88 and 99

Why does no one read the history of Norton bikes and start to learn about there origins, too much about modern day bikes and not enough knowledge of past Models, I worked on bikes back in the early 1960's and know what bikes were around back then,

Nuts inside?
