Fork yokes
Can anybody identify yokes numbered 15675? Judging by the trail I suspect that they might be for sidecar use but I know little about forks other than for featherbeds and later.
Thanks
Alan

Does anyone have an enthusiastic recommendation for a definitive book about the general demise of the British motorcycle industry?

Hi Again,
I would like to know what parts on a 1959 Dominator 99 were chromed, for example were the handlebar retaining clamps chromed, or the rear brake levers etc.
I have a 1960 99 which belonged to my brother and it has only run for 9 months in 1979 since1970, not turned a wheel since!
Prior to reconditioning my Concentrics I soaked all parts in petrol hoping to release calcium? deposits but alas it did no good, could someone suggest a more satisfactory way to proceed?
Many thanks
Jim

Having rebuilt AMC-type gearbox number N11127 I'm now having trouble working out which clutch cable I should have. The bike is a '59 Featherbed with no adjustment at the handlebars which I understand to be correct.

I am close to completing a rebuild of my Dominator 99 (1957) and am wondering if there are any better ways of running the breather pipes from the crank and oil tank, other than them running to the end of the rear mudguard.
Hello, I would be grateful for any advice regarding a bike I am thinking of buying. It's a 1973 750 Commando with matching numbers, and looks pretty sound.
I am away working at the moment and using my spare time to order a few parts needed to get my bike going again hopefully when I return. Before leaving I counted teeth on rear drum twice and came up with 42T.
i need some opinion on soldering cast brass banjo fittings to 3/16 OD copper pipe feeding rockers on 1950 ES 2. Should these be silver soldered (high temp stuff) or will lesser methods be ok?
Does anyone know the manufacturer's reference number of the timing-side main bearing with 10 balls. Paul Dunstall used to sell them as an upgrade for high-speed use. Thanks.
