I have started this challenge that the AMC gearbox in my Dominator 88 is asking for. It is the first time I open a gearbox of any sort, and I am finding it rather exciting. My issue:

Having got my rods to fit the crank i now need to balance them as they are not the same.I have narrowed the differenc to the big end caps so anyone know the best place to remove material from?Also when cleaning and checking the timingside crankcas

Has anyone had first-hand experience with Tri-Spark or Pazon ignitions? Tri-Spark certainly are very proud of their products....but at the end of the day, are they all that much better than Pazon?
I have read of people fitting CBR 600 fork internals into commado forks, does anyone know which model CBR forks are suitable, and how much effort is involved in making them workable?

I wont swear on line, but on taking the engine topieces - I checked how smoothly the oil pump turned and it was very stiff and notchy so I thought that I would take the pump to pieces but, and guess what, I broke the upper casting, now two things<
I have recently acquired a 1960 ES2 and among other things removed the primary cover to check the number to teeth on the engine sprocket.

Would it be possible for somebody to post a photo of the correct brake lever and switch setup for the 1959 model 99. I have read that there is a little plate that sits on the brake rod and the switch sits against it on a bracket.
On my Mark 11a Commando, the rear forks at the base are touching the in side primary chain cover - is this correct?
