Can someone tell me where I can get a servicable carburettor stub (manifold) for my 1954 ES2 Norton?

Albert, can you give me the critical diameters ? I might have one.

Are they all threaded 1 3/8" x 24tpi ? - What size stub do you need ? (Internal diameter for the carburettor) ?

Rich.

Hi Richard,

These are the dimensions of the stub:

Threaded end 1 3/8" 24tpi.

carb end outside dim 1 1/4" and 3/4" deep.

overall length 3"

Regards and thanks,

Albert,

The one that I have here is the same length as the side-valve stubs - 2 3/4" and the diameter measures up as 1 15/64" which is an odd-sounding dimension and it doesn't look worn or damaged.

I bought it because it had a nicely patinated dull chrome finish but it's too large for my 16H. I don't know what it was fitted to.

If you can send me a personal message with an e-mail address, I'll szend you some photos.

Rich
