I am restoring a 1975 commando mk3 and not sure what route the handlebar switch wires go. The pictures I find on the net all have differant routes, some put then under the top yoke others over the top yoke and between the front brake pipe bracket. What is the correct position?

The currentedition of CBG…
The currentedition of CBG (Jan 2015) has a bit onthe last Mk III to come out of Andover (p12). Allegedly untouched,thegrey wires run behind the top yoke & into the grommets as described by Sam. I movedmine to between thefront of the yoke & back of the headlamp shell. I just think it looks tidier tho' space a bit tight.

Thanks Sam & Mike. I have had the wirers in both positions and agree mike, they are a lot neater front of the yoke.

Down the bars, behind the top yoke and through the headlamp grommets, or at least that's what mine do.
