Back in the 70s i did custom paint,I noticed (UK) Norton did candies over silver before anyone else,Evan before japan or at least the same time.I owned a 1968 Commando round badge solid BRG i now own a Feb 1969 round badge Candy red,only moths latter the round badge was lost and i only seen solid red and two tone like the Andover bike.I don't like the clash of the red with silver sides.So my question is as i want a standard bike can i leave the candy red off and have a silver bike as i have read this was a color but i have never seen one.Thanks for your time.Restoration going well.
