Norton at Brooklands

Well done to Surrey branch for organising the event today, a nice collection of bikes and a great atmosphere at a great venue with lots of welcome sunshine. Good to see six 961's together as well.

i am about to replace centrestand.the right hand nut and bolt are easy to remove,but the left side has a prob.nut ok to remove but frame in the way remove bolt.do i have to remove engine plates?

I have a rebuilt atlas, I've timed it as close as I can, it started after many kicks, then ran at about 3000 rpm until I shut it down, checked the carbs, all seemed ok, but wouldn't start again.

Lockheed calipers

hi. can any one tell me how to get the pistons out of a lockheed caliper, the out side one may not be to bed but the inside one i can not see how to get any presure behind it to get it out.

Norton 500T timing

Can someone please confirm that the timing for a 500 Trials with a BTH competition mag is 5/16 BTD fully advanced as I have been told conflicting settings of 3/8 BTD. I have looked in all my books and there is no menton of settings for a 500T.

Waiting on spares

Being a new member I am realy diserpointed in the lenth of time it is taking for spares I have orderd and paid for to come, they may be cheeper but to be honest I wish I had paid more and had them within a few days

Roadholder on line

I am posting this here, as it only concerns club members. This subject has been raised before, but, no progress has been made. I live in Spain, but pay full membership subscription, and do (eventually) receive my copy of Roadholder.
