Brand new Manx Norton 350cc Short Stroke Cylinder head with provisions for Twin Spark

My Speedo and tacho are away being reconditioned. In the meantime I’m going to remove the instrument housings, which are unpainted alloy on my ‘72 Commando, and give them a polish.

My Atlas clutch slips a bit when its cold but after 5 minutes or so of riding it stops slipping.

Has anyone measured the force needed to pull the handlebar clutch lever to open the clutch?

If someone has what force was needed.

I hate to bring this up again but here goes anyway. 

A Dominator I am rebuilding came with rear shocks shown in the picture. At 70mm diameter they are too wide and foul the mudguard.

Dimensions are 11" x 2-3/4" shroud diameter.

Does anyone know what they come from?

Hi, I need to replace the Contact breaker oil seal and I see on the Andover site they list a special tool to aid fitment. Can this be fitted without the need for the tool and if so how.

My 1957 "dynamo" Dommi 99 has a speedo drive box with no identifying numbers. It's knackered.

I have a '57 600cc single engine in a '48 ES2. I've currently got the engine apart to sort a crankshaft end float problem.

I've assembled the crankshaft into the cases on my 850 engine - fresh grind, new mains, new shells, new new  AN conrods, N.O.S Hepolite pistons(std), new liners fitted.                                    I noticed that the T/S  piston wasn't level

Something i have not seen before ,wear in the steel ? bush.

The threads in my 650 swinging arm are stripped . I think they are 1/4 cycle .  I ordered new adjusters  and happily they have turned up  larger !.  Perhaps my luck is changing . When did they increase the thread size and what is it ?.

Early clutch so 1st plain plate is attached to clutch basket with 2 roll pins that have sheared.

Is there a standard size or do I just measure the diameter and order nearest mm size from e-bay?

I am about to start building my Mk3 front wheel.  I have two wheel types here.

Hi, Has anyone purchased Commando MK3 down pipes (exhausts) from Armour Motor Products Ltd in Bournemouth? If so, would you kindly let me know if the pipes fitted correctly and give their opinion of the quality of the pipes.

I’m in the strip down and assessment phase and have so far discovered that my bike is an early 650ss engine in a 1966 88 Chassis with a 99 barrel. The bike was assembled by someone with zero mechanical aptitude. 
 

My ES2 lost it's original mudguard 50 years ago during a mild attack of customising. The old mudguard never made it to Sweden, where I live now.

Hi, Does anyone have any factory dimensions for positioning the 'Norton' and '750 Commando' decals on tank and side panels...or is it just a case of gauging the position from photos?
