Hi,
My 69 750 Commando has Electronic Ignition fitted by a previous owner.
Any suggestions who to contact re fastening nut/bolt/studs? My bike was bought 'complete' but is far from & I'm struggling to find odd bits.

Can anyone tell me if this was a factory colour scheme? I have recently re-introduced it to the road after an extensive rebuild. I bought it in a partially assembled state with an option of tanks, Roadster or Interstate.
The horn on my 1963 650SS is a 6v Lucas 8H model. It was on the bike when I got it in 1971 and has an 04/62 date stamp on it so it could be an original part. I cannot get it to work.

I have not owned a 650 SS before and the carb layout and details were a bit of a surprise.
This week, my local Postman, who was wearing shorts during the heavy snow, delivered a very large package sporting an equally large Australian Stamp.
I'm getting ready to assemble my 1962 ES2 engine after a complete overhaul. I have not been able to find info on torque settings. Specifically the 3 sizes of case studs (5/16 3/8 7/16), head bolts and rocker box.
The tank and side panels on my 1978 Mk111 are being re painted to a near enough match of the original colour, silver. I would also like the red & black pin stripping included prior to the tank & panels are laquered.

The 850 engine I'm rebuilding came from a machine where the engine was bolted solid into the frame. How would I be able to tell whether it has had it's balance factor altered?
Thought I'd start a topic, in line with Robert's comment recently re keeping the forum going.
Have a 59 dominator 99 restored in mid 90s.
I am currently preparing to assemble the Mk3 front isolastic mounting that has been apart for years. However, the adjuster only screws on a couple of turns and locks solid.
in my last post I was awaiting collection of my new project - my first Norton - a 650ss in an Atlas frame. I was pretty certain the engine is one of the first 650ss from Sept 1962 as the serial number and stamping says so.
Hello again folks, hope you don’t mind all these questions…
I’ve been working my way through all previous posts relating to SOHC and Inters to soak up the wisdom and note that there is much reference to the technical notes of the late Dr. George Cohen.
Is replacing the big end on a 1962 model 50 a job left for professionals, or has anyone completed the task, David
