Hello
Does anyone have photos of the Jubilee headlight red warning light pips - mine are missing and will manufacture copies.
I have nearly finished stripping black powder coating off my 650 SS frame, because I don't like powder coating and I don't like black frames!
I hope some of you like the photo of my Commando which I rebuilt over the last year.
Hi been reading some old books, Franks and Garratt, much more information ln them, So the Norton twins run from 1948, the clutch being altered slightly, can an earlier pre-war clutch be used in a 99, or a Pre-1956 unit, or is this a no-no!
Hi, I bought a collection of Norton stuff on Evil Bay in 2017 & have just got round to looking at it properly!

Could anybody help me please with these questions.
I'm not sparking - and neither is my Magdyno - type MO1 ('55 ES2).

No wonder the 16H gearbox leaks. The cork oil seal around the inside end of the kickstart shaft is in at least 3 pieces. I think I'll replace it with a narrow section o ring. Are there any drawbacks?
Anyone know how I can get the clutch spring nut off the stud ? The clutch is a 3 spring with centre adjuster, but the retaing nut is well and truly stuck in the spring cup on the threaded stud.
Where do you place shims, inside crankcase between bearing and case or on crank between throws and bearing?????
Thanks for your help

Hi fellow Norton friends
I have a query.
Should my 500T have a head gasket or not??
Mine has one and has a really annoying oil leak and starts smoking when hot and was wandering if the head gasket was the cause.
Dear All As a result of the takeover of Norton various bike magazines and journalists are quite rightly taking an interest.

I noticed an ad for Commando bits in the States, seller lists it as a 72 but the points are behind the barrels so possibly 68/69... but what model? I have suggested it might be an R type and he would like to know for sure.
