Having covered 250 miles the running in period seems to be going fine, a few nuts and bolts needed tightening plus an annoying oil leak from an exhaust rockercover which won't seal up yet. And of course head tightness checked at least 3 times

I have read that it was recommended to change the fork yokes for sidecar use, on a feathered frame.  How do you tell the difference?

How does the Atlas compare to the 750 Commando in terms of performance, handling, reliability and ease of maintenance please?

Valve seat cutters

Has anyone ever used the cheaper cutters with carbon steel heads?  Some advertisers say they aren't suitable for hard valve seats. E.g. "THESE WILL NOT CUT MODERN DAYS HARDENED VALVE SETS" (Sic) like you have in an ally head presumably?

I have just checked the needle groove position on the carburettor as I was suspicious that the bike  was running too lean. ( 1956 Dominator 99 ) due to the very light colour of the plugs and difficulty re starting from hot.

Headlight

1958 Dominator, the headlight shell has a hole 1” diameter between the light/ ignition switch and the ammeter. What should fit in the hole? Any help would be appreciated.

Where does the spacer item 33 part number 064016 shown in the parts book fit?

Does it go under the bracket that supports the back light assembly?

There is not one on my bike.
