Having covered 250 miles the running in period seems to be going fine, a few nuts and bolts needed tightening plus an annoying oil leak from an exhaust rockercover which won't seal up yet. And of course head tightness checked at least 3 times

I understand different yokes were recommended, when fitting a sidecar.  What is the difference, and is it obvious to the eye?

hi all,i recently took my rear mudguard for rechroming only to be told it was too far gone and would not survive the process.just wondering if anyone out there has tried the indian made items for sale on ebay.

I have read that it was recommended to change the fork yokes for sidecar use, on a feathered frame.  How do you tell the difference?

Hello, six years after selling a Commando, I am considering buying another Norton.

How does the Atlas compare to the 750 Commando in terms of performance, handling, reliability and ease of maintenance please?

Hi. I’m going to fit electronic ignition (probably Pazon) to my Dommie 99 basket case once it’s rebuilt.

Can someone please tell me how the Slimline seat is securely attached?

My old rebuild case has a poorly recovered seat with a badly welded plate base and two crude spigots. The whole contraption doesn't  fit properly. on the frame.

Has anyone ever used the cheaper cutters with carbon steel heads?  Some advertisers say they aren't suitable for hard valve seats. E.g. "THESE WILL NOT CUT MODERN DAYS HARDENED VALVE SETS" (Sic) like you have in an ally head presumably?  

Hi All - before “boxing up” the engine I noticed a “strange” stamping on the cylinder barrels.  There’s a “B” on the outer surface of both and a * on the front of only one cylinder (LH - see photo).

what is the best way to remove the cam bush out of the left case

I am a new convert to classic biking and have a 1960 Dominator 99.

Second ride out only on Christmas purchase of this beautiful steel green 961 sport which I am still running in with just 400 miles on clock.

Heard a rumour that Norton will be open for spares within two weeks, that's good news if it's true.

Hi all,

Ist ride this year on my 2017 961 and when applying the rear brake nothing happened, the pedal bottoms out and absolutely no brake effect.

I have just checked the needle groove position on the carburettor as I was suspicious that the bike  was running too lean. ( 1956 Dominator 99 ) due to the very light colour of the plugs and difficulty re starting from hot.

One is a Lucas SSU700P/1, The other one a Dominator? but no Medallion hole had a PRS8 switch and Ammeter in it but sadly no Chronometric speedometer!

1958 Dominator, the headlight shell has a hole 1” diameter between the light/ ignition switch and the ammeter. What should fit in the hole? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Im considering buying a Norton n15cs. Its a restored import with no provenance and asking price £9000 its ben on the market for18months at least which makes me suspicious but a part ex on my existing bike is tempting.

A road test on 6th February 1958, ...noted high oil consumption 1,200 to 1,500 Mpg!

Probably thrashed by the journalist's!

I have now completed 260 miles after rebuilding the top end on my 1956 Dominator 99 and re torqued the head twice after each 100 miles and appreciate that there is some way to go yet. I fitted a solid copper gasket.

Hi all, i am looking to change the seat on my roadster, will an interstate seat fit? its an early type frame that the centre stand bolts to the frame. thanks in advance

Does anyone have the dimensions of Navigator clutch springs please.  Free length, wire diameter, number of coils and outside diameter of spring.

Where does the spacer item 33 part number 064016 shown in the parts book fit?

Does it go under the bracket that supports the back light assembly?

There is not one on my bike.

Can any one advise me on the piston clearance on a 750 commando
