Can anyone tell me the size and thread of the rear stand nut for a rigid? Ten quid each is a bit minty for my leaking pockets! Cant find them on spares shop on here unless they share a common use for something else or another model??

It's 5/16 Whit head size, but not easy to check the thread with the bike sitting on it. But obviously it has to be the same as your frame! It is special shouldered bolt I assume as no nut is involved.

Rear stand bolt
The rear stand bolt size is 7/16 x 20 tpi cycle thread this is very similar to unf slight difference to thread angle but could be used at a pinch

I'm so fed up with the News…
I'm so fed up with the News that I took one out. Just as well as it was not tight and about to make a bid for freedom. Roger has given the size. The length is 1 1/8", and plain shank is .675". Its not shouldered. Just a bolt with a plain shank.
