Can anybody Help. I am rebuilding a Navigator engine and would like to know what is the gap between the barrel and the cylinder heads i.e. spigot height as the heads have been skimmed and at the moment there is a big gap many thanks.

Hi all I'm about to rebuild my 1929 model 18 engine, has anyone got any tips on setting up the valve timing gears, there are no timing marks and they all fell out when I removed the cover so I was unable to put my own marks when I stripped it.

During almost 30 years of owning my Mk2A Commando it has consumed 5 Lucas ignition switches! It must be the least reliable item for what is a very basic role in life - with not even a starter motor to energise.
