Kickstarter for a 1961 Navigator.
The splines have worn away on the kickstarter on my 1961 Navigator. I've looked on the spare parts list and am a bit confused. Can I just purchase a replacement? And what is the part number?
Thanks.
Andy James

Is everyone's 12 amp Wassel ammeter as odd as mine? This is the second new one I've had, the first one was completely broken when I took it out of the box and this one looks like its going to fall to pieces as soon as I go over the fist bump.
I have read many topics in this forum dealing with how to fit a side stand, all I have seen are comments about material removal - no comments about the side stand spring , am I the only person to have a problem fitting the side stand spring!
Help! How do I remove the drive for the points on a jubilee. I have read a few suggestions but I was not particularly happy about the technique , what is the best practice?

With the sad passing of Mick Hemmings today, and of Peter Williams earlier this year, how about a small "Hall of Fame" for those held in high esteem within Norton circles?
OK a can of worms here..
I see that norton gears that are marked with nxxxx. some have 3 after them. I guess this the pressure angle? So shouldn't be mixed with those not marked with 3?
Would somebody advise me, how should be the correct assembly order of seat and tail faring. We tried to fit it properly on my brothers commando, but seat bolts look short. Detail in picture.
I just heard that Mick Hemmings passed away in the early hours of this morning, RIP Mick.

I have a 750, which I can no longer start from cold due to poorly knee. However if I get my son to start it with his size 11s it is 2 kicks, once it has been run I can then restart it myself.
Hi. This is my first Norton rebuild so the mystery of cam chains and magneto chains is entirely new to me. My 1960 Dommie 99 project shows 91000 miles on the mileometer.
I'm trying to work out what oversize pistons I need for my scratch-built Domi 88 500 engine (1958). The bores in the cylinder block look good, so I want to avoid the cost of a rebore. They measure 67.50+/- 0.05 mm all round , which is also good
