Crank case oil leak

Hi , has anybody had to replace a seal believed to be between the alternator and the back of the crank case .

the gasket on the crank case does not seem to be leaking .

Te 650SS I bought recently has a clutch operation force that would have defeated Superman. I read in this website 7/8" is the correct distance between fulcrum and the centre of the cable nipple. Mine has a distance of just over 1.1".

Identification of fork yokes

A friend has a set of yokes and stanchions from a Norton project that he bought a long time ago. They where left over with some other early LS Manx parts and Inter spares.has anyone any idea what they could be off?  The stanchions measure 520mm.

Torque settings

I don't usually concern myself much with these, but I'm surprised none of my books has a setting for the camshaft nut. Is there a recommended value? Is it ever known to be a problem?

Cylinder spigot damage

Hi. The barrels on my 1960 Dommie 99 project are the type with raised spigots. The spigot on one cylinder has a small amount missing (broken out). It’s triangular in shape and is about 4mm wide at its widest point (at the top).

I was wondering how many of these bikes were produced in total ?  I saw a figure of 200 in a Pitman publication for the initial batch with manual ignition advance.

Rear shocks

Hi,

Could somebody help me identify these rear shocks that are fitted to my 1937 16H, it was modified to be a dirt track bike back in the day and I need to rebuild them cause they lost all of their oil.

Horn relay

My horn takes so much power from my battery that I can only use it once in a while. Is there a simple fix eg a relay that will solve this. The system is 6 volt + earth and it’s on my 1952 Model 7.
