Yesterday first trackday this year .Around 5 degrees C. Just a few snowflakes in the air. Had to use my hand as a choke to get the Manx started. Very long warmup needed. After a pass on the track, oil temperature crept up to 45 C.

I have decided to fit the side stand to my 650SS recently bought. I have the outer and inner primary chain cases removed, are there any upgrades for the clutch and alternator while it is apart and awaiting spares?

I have the original rear embossed black and white number plate which over sixty years old and in good condition. I will have to repaint the black section, thinking of satin black.

All the rear units I have ever seen are much narrower at the top mounting eye than the channel on the rear frame that they bolt to, so I always pack them either side with washers to locate them centrally, does everybody do this and how were they o

I've been looking for a decent front fender for an Electra I'm working on.  My question is about the same fenders being shared across different models form that era.  Will an Atlas fender, Navigator, Jubilee, Slimline, etc fit?

In have just bought a nice looking 650SS advertised in our website. I bought a side stand for it but where does it fit? There is a side stand shown on Andover Norton's website, so I guess it should fit.

Where can I buy another Norton dip stick or oil level stick?

Carburettor woes...having (foolishly) replaced a functioning but incorrect pair of concentrics with the correct monoblocs.. it no longer functions.  Jets are all clean. Balance is OK and individual mixtures were set yesterday using colour tune.

While discussing barrel clamp plates on another thread we got talking about head steady brackets. I was able to take a good look at mine while taking photos for the thread and discovered that it is cracked in two places.

When I try to scroll down on a page the webste keeps jumping back to the top. I scroll down, it jumps to the top. It happens a lot.    I use Firefx and it never happens on any other website

My ES2 magdyno has never had brushes in it although I have them. My question is what terminal(s) do they attach to?  Attached is a photo and I have highlighted the only vacant terminal I can see....do they both attach to that or ??? 

Does any one know where the right deluxe anti vibration oil tank mounting grommets can be bought, borrowed or otherwise? The grommets are quite model specific and have a steel bush in the central hole.
