National Rally at Keynsham 4-7 July 2025
Probably a bit late for some but if your thinking of going to the Fry's Chocolate rally at Keynsham here is an accomodation list for around the campsite if you don't want to reside in a tent or a tin box.

Hi, I have an 88ss head with wobbly rocker spindles. Has anyone had a head bushed to cure this and if so do you have any recommendations for someone to carry out the work? It's a bit beyond loctite and the RGM kit.

Could anybody tell me the exact name and type of my gearbox.
I wish to refurbish it, and I want to order seals, bushes etc.
Hi Guys,
Can someone help md with a slightly worrying find?
I have a dry clutch and belt drive in my dominator.
After running the bike for about 400 miles, I've got oil coming out of the gearbox and into the primary drive section.
The bike is a 1972 commando.
I replaced the lay shaft bearing in my gearbox about a year ago as it had failed and at the same time I ordered the full gearbox overhaul kit from AN (06.7279) and index plunger spring.
I'm looking for opinions and or advice from the Norton sages.....but I have to be honest and admit this is not a Norton query but thought tyres and rims are pretty universal.

Hello all
18 months or so after taking on my 650ss I’m almost at a point where I can wheel her out and get on the road. It has been, as the youth say these days, ‘a journey’.
I have a knackered grey faced tacho 1964/5. It might rebuild OK but i cant find a supplier of parts, particularly the face for the 2:1 ratio clock. Can anyone help?
Hi O Wise Ones
I have discovered that I am unable to fit my newly purchased rear brake light switch because the fitting that holds it is missing from the brake pedal. A complete new brake pedal is 130 plus quid from AN.
Can anyone tell me what model this frame number is from 13081.
thanks
This is from page 85 of the Edgar Franks 1949 Norton Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair.
I'm trying to form a plan regarding rewiring my Mk.3. I intend to wire negative earth.

Speedo gearbox has given up the ghost (I think - happy to be educated). I've reseated the cable but still no cable action at all spinning the wheel. Are they worth repairing or just another part of my order to Andover Norton?
I am new to NOC having just purchased a hybrid, a 1965 matchless G15 CS. It's been confirmed as a genuine matching numbers bike by "Jampot" dating service.
This is in several weeks time. I know it's at the Prescott Hill climb, but can anybody advise what's been arranged and is happening from an NOC perspective.

'72 Commando 750 (Combat)
I only get a very weak spark with a Pazon EI (you need magnifying glasses to see it!). When the bike is running, it runs very well (although I'm only in a breaking in period and haven't exceeded 3800 rpm).
I picked up the '72 Commando that I had won at the HJ Pugh auction on Friday. The handwritten notes in the file said that the engine. was rebuilt by Walcott Engineering in 2020 and that it had 15 miles of running in.
BBC1 today 25/5/25: someone turned up with 2 Featherbed Manx frames. One still in Rex McCandless's assembly jig. Plus steel templates to bend the tubes to correct curvature. Antiques Road Show, final item...see BBC iPlayer
Hi I'm upgrading my bike to 12v and I'm unsure of which replacement regulator I should buy from the NOC shop? There are a few 12v variations there so any assistance would be appreciated please.
