Hi all........my 1953 ES2 has a new (ish) Amal 376/1716 monobloc carb.
Looking back on my PC last night, I came across a photo labelled 3 bearing crank.
I have no further information on it, but I suspect it might have been something Kenny Dreer had been working on way back.
Hello. I hope someone may be able to help me track down what I think is the factory drawing for the slimline featherbed. The attached pdf shows part of the drawing I am talking about. Does anyone have the whole drawing?
Here's a problem which challenges my intuitions about the laws of nature — and definitely contravenes Sod's Law:
I wonder if anyone can give me their opinion on the attached image.

Running my newly rebuilt '61 ES2, the voltage at the Wassel rectifier box out wires (with the rectifier disconnected from the battery/system) is about 6-7 v at idling, but drops as the revs increase!!
After maybe 1000 miles of use over a few years, my throttle slide started becoming reluctant to drop cleanly when closing the throttle. It turns out that the return spring is not the current type.
I’m rebuilding my jubilee (early engine) following both the manual and Mike Marriott’s photo guide. In frame 5 of the guide it says to “prize cylinder head clamp plates (washers below) from heads”.

Good morning all. I've been doing some work on the cylinder heads of my Navigator. I see that the "inner pillars" that support the rocker spindles have top hat shaped bushes pressed in to place, see photos.
Hi there. Ordering some bits and bobs for a gearbox rebuild, club only had 2 items, total only £12, so I thought I'd add a DVD to make it worthwhile. Went to the DVD section, selected my DVD, went to my basket, the gearbox bits had disappeared.

I'm putting a 1947 ES2 engine together at the moment. I've been looking at the design of the oil feed around the engine. The top end rocker shafts seem to only be oil mist fed as there is no supply or way of returning oil to scavenge.
I have a combined electronic ammeter and voltmeter on my Jubilee and I run 6 volt electrics through a modern rectifier/regulator.
The voltmeter reading and power (illumination) to the meter are fine.
Well done to all involved in setting up and running the first AGM on line. It went very well on the whole and it was great to hear from John Russell interim CEO of Norton.
Please could somebody help? Would I be right in saying that with the key in Position 2 (Ignition and lights), all 4 terminals of the Master switch should be 'live'.
Thanks Roger
Hi, I've a 750 with high compression head, quick action throttle and a pair of handed 930 concentrics.

I read in The Classic Motorcycle mag an article on a plunger ES2 in which the owner, Jim Hill, had fitted a strengthening plate across the two pivots of the front brake drum to increase braking efficiency by stiffening the plate. Has anyone got an
