Hi, I've bought an Amal Mk2 from RGM for my 77' Mk3, it was supplied witha 15pilot jet in the float bowl and a blanking screw in the carb body, is this right? do you leave the blanking screw in position?

Hi to one and all. I have a '76 850 ES which has been converted to belt drive and has most of the ES guts removed. I do have the starter motor which is the original 2-Brush type and one of the gears but no sprag clutch etc.
The battery on my 72 commando vented acid from the breather pipe.I didnt notice till too lateresulting in a nightmare of corrosion at the alloy rear wheel, chain guard, brake linkage etc.
I know very little about what constitutes 'concours' standards but assume it must have the bike looking like it did ex-works.
Whilst I am interested in standard Nortons (own a fairly standard 1946 Model 18) I'm sure that I can't be alone in having an interest in Norton specials. (as well as my model 18 I have a heavily modified Commando.
Anyone have an idea where I could find an air filter for my 650 Mercury? It is hot and dusty here in Cape Town and I would prefer to filter out the bits.

Megaphone, Reverse cone, Siamese, Balance pipe, Expansion bulge and even the length of the inlet track are the results of design attempts to use the âKadenacy Effect.â in exhaust systems.
Currently the breather is just a short copper pipe on the rear of the drive side crankcase, Ithink it should be connected to the spareconnection on the top of the oil tank breather.
I'm re-commissioning a slimline. 1960 first registered in 1963. The headlight shell has a hole for the switch a hole for the ammeter and a hole in between the two. What goes in there?
Folks - does anyone have any ideas on this?
I have heard that there is clearance for WM2 or WM3 rim at the front and even for a WM4 at the rear, I am a little dubious.

My 1960 model 99 Dominator enginehas been totally rebuilt. It seems to have intermittent oil starvation to the rocker box.The oil seems to be going straight back to the tank instead of up the rocker box feed. Can anyone help please?
Has anyone out there got a Parts List for around 1961? Could you please let me know the part number for the bottom yoke for a 1961 Model 50. I guess it mightbe the same for all Slimline Featherbeds.
