I need a pair of new coil for my commando, I have see an add from the VMCC thay have Emgo coils @ £14.50 and Lucas @ £20.50.
Has any oneused the Emgo ones with good results or are the Lucas any better ?
Or are thay made in the same place ?

I believe Lucas used to re-badge PVL coils, but £20.50 sounds too cheap for a top quality item of German origin, so maybe Lucas ones are now from the far East.

Both coils on my 850 have…
Both coils on my 850 have been crushed by over-tightening of the clamps - why do those clamps have that ridiculous angled projection on the inside? - so does anyone have any recommendations for replacements, before mine start shorting-out internally?
