Ive just joined this club because i think i might need a lot of advice . my father in law has just given me his 1938 16 h Norton , he was going to restore it but due to ill health he cant

Has anyone got a suggestion regarding the fitting of a later type propstand (mk3 850) to a 1972 model 750 frame as mine has lug type (no bolt fitting) as wife gets fed up kneeling down and getting it out for me ? Regards Alan Nortiboy Johnson

DVD rebuild

Hello all, does anybody have or knows of the whereabouts of a dvd for rebuilding a commando engine. I have googled this but havent come up with any info ( except arnie shwartznegger) to purchase one.

My recently rebuilt Commando smokes heavily on the right cylinder upon start up. This clears after a short while. The bores were on plus 20 and not worn. I glazebusted the bores and fitted new rings.

Mk3 rear brake

Hi guys,

I have just purchased a 1977 Mk3 electric start commando, unrestored and reasonably original.

The rear disc was rubbing against the side of the caliper, exhaust side.

hi guys ,new to the commando ,i have a 850 electric start but its a lazy starter i have fitted a 4 pole starter but this just turns the engine over half a dozen times without firing,am i expecting too much from it,it will start first kick so there

Hi, I have just purchased a Manx and would like some pointers regarding the frame and its identity, the Machine has come from overseas and I am advised that is has remained unused since the 80's, the original frame number [if it is] has been overs

Hi Everboby "Happy Easter" Iwas given a primary cover i think off a 750 fastback ,it has an oil take-off hole near the relief valve.I think it could be fastback because 1; i purchased a early frame off a person (frame no 135285) he also has a f/b
