Hi i am putting my jubilee back together before the final repaint, i have the centre stand fitted, but i cant see where the spring anchor plate should fix to.
Anna want to know if i its safe to run my bike with the drive cover removed for a few weeks whilst I have it chromed 4-6 weeks

I've recently had my mag completely rebuilt and now the bike is reluctant to start when hot.
Has anyone got a suggestion regarding the fitting of a later type propstand (mk3 850) to a 1972 model 750 frame as mine has lug type (no bolt fitting) as wife gets fed up kneeling down and getting it out for me ? Regards Alan Nortiboy Johnson

I have a pre-war inter with the rear set footrests on it. The footrest currently gets in the way of the kickstart that came on the bike.

My recently rebuilt Commando smokes heavily on the right cylinder upon start up. This clears after a short while. The bores were on plus 20 and not worn. I glazebusted the bores and fitted new rings.

I have just purchased a 1977 Mk3 electric start commando, unrestored and reasonably original.
The rear disc was rubbing against the side of the caliper, exhaust side.
Attached pic shows the source of an oil leak below my ES2 crankcase next to the primary cover/alternator.
I noticed in my '57 norton parts book, that the model 19s rear fender has a different part number than the '57 model 77 , why is that? The both use the single downtube frame.

I am a way from needing this part, but I am going to need an indicator switch for my Elactra. Searches for part number do not seem to reveal anything, and I have no idea what the switch even looks like.
