Positive or negative?

Just bought a voltage regulator at Kemton and I picked up positive earth version. Prewar Norton was negative (like modern bikes) but if I repolarise the dynamo all the wiring colours will be wrong (red negative...) Are there any other drawbacks?

1955 Model 7 clutch

Can I run the clutch as a dry clutch? I have been told I can?

The advice was to put thick sticky grease on the clutch bearing and to regularly use chain lubricant. What about the clutch plates, will they be damaged?

Motorcycle hoists

Increasing age and stiffness mean I need to buy a hoist/lift to work on my 3 motorcycles, including a Norton 99 Dominator. I'm looking for recommendations about specific devices and/or useful features to look for.

Loud exhaust/reprogram?

Anyone who has added the optional exhaust from Norton or modded their exhaust to breathe better, my question is did you have to reflash the ECU or reprogram / change the fuel mapping, electronics to get the bike to run correctly or is their a proc

ES2 fuel lines

Hi folks iv got a leak comming from my left hand side petrol tap on my 1950 es2 , it seems to be from the gas thread nut or spigot does anyone know of

anyone who makes up fuel lines, as the plastic pipe looks like its 1950 and brittle.

Brake cam

Does anyone know where I could lay my hands on two brake oppertating cams for a 1950 ES2? Mine are badly worn and the usual sources don't seem to stock them.

Mk.lll wiring loom

Noticed a wanted advert for a wiring loom for use as a template for a new harness. I think you're better of using the bike as a template with the electrical components where you want them.
