Noticed a wanted advert for a wiring loom for use as a template for a new harness. I think you're better of using the bike as a template with the electrical components where you want them. The zeners, if your using them, and brake light switch for example can even be placed away from all the wet, mud, salt etc. Earths can be fitted for each component and the wires can be routed how you like. You also know it's going to fit.

It was me, I was going to make it and fit it with minimal off road time. I work away form the bike in the week and have little time for a strip / make / fit process. I could make the harness up at work in the spare time I have there. I was going to include a battery monitor lamp system and do away with the assimilator, going this route would allow me to strip out easily and fit new harness without too much stripping of the machine, as I already use an A Reg regulator and horn off a Japanese moped. An accessories socket would also be fitted to charge phone / satnav on the fly as well.
