Hey,
Anyone have the rare combination of a 1948 (ish) Norton ES2 and a measuring tape? I'm looking for a front stay for my sickly machine but I don't know the dimensions.
I have attached a pix of one from Armours which shows its overall lenght at 17". Will this fit my ES2?
Cheers,
Bryon

Thx for the pix! The one from Armour's appears to be a bit too long.I think I'll continue the never ending search for parts

It looks to me as if the Armours stay is intended to be cut to length and drilled appropriately, according to whether the mudguard is up to spec.
Unfortunately, it looks to be made of 1/2" tubing rather than 9/16" (9/16" tube has become difficult to get hold of, but 14mm is close).

Well the kids are tucked in, and the dog is snoring at my feet. So I thought I'd take a little trawlthrough are very own NOCShop. What did I find? Nothing short of the front stay I've been after. Not sure how I missed it before now but...
Off I go to place the order...
