Just been reading the review of the new Triumph Thruxton Bonneville R, In this country it costs £11,700, in the USA it costs $14500 that equates to £10,098 £1,602 cheaper.

Rocker cover gasket

I have recently restored a 1954 ES 2 and made a rocker cover gasket from high temp gasket material. I now find that there is a substantial oil leak from the top of the pushrod tubes.

No tools or workshop manual

I got a phone call a couple of days ago from a guy in the VMCC (but not the NOC) who had just bought a 1959 Dominator that was playing up. Did I know anybody who would be able to remove the magneto for him to get it serviced?

Mag chain.

Hello I have an issue of a tight spot on my mag chain in my 16h, if the engine is turned over the chain has a nice bit of freeplay, but one spot is really tight. I have ordered a new chain, is this a common problem.

Poor mpg

Having got my 63 m50 running better than ever I find that mpg is rather poor,only circa 50/53.

Is this normal? I am sure my old one did 70 or more.

my 72 roadster came with tt100 replica,s but due to storage the sidewalls have some cracking,having chucked a few down the road when younger,(still feel all )what and where would be the best new compound to fit thanks guys

I noticed that Burton Bike Bits is selling an Alloy clutch for the pre-commando twins, for a whole lot of money. I'm just curious why would anyone spring for that? Just for a little weight saving? For racing?......

Valve lifter

My 19S is now run in and I have started to ride it with gusto :). Oil is now leaking (p***ing out) from the valve lifter shaft.
