After my son had so much trouble with plug fouling on my 99 I altered just about everything from oil supply to the head ,halving the pump speed ,adding some electronics to the ignition ,new dissy parts etc etc.

I seem to be having a few magneto related issues.
My 1951 model 18 is very sporadic starting and runs poorly at low rpm and back fires a lot on over run. It is running a later concentric carb.

I have what I believe is a norton electra 1965 but with engine number EL/1192. Not real sure if I found the frame number but there is one on the head stem 030026. Any suggestions

On a recent thread titled breakdown Peter asks for jetting for a single Mk 1 Concentric. The problem with this set up is that the float bowl/needle will not flow enough fuel to feed both cylinders at higher throttle settings.
When raised, the rear stand on my '37 CS1 engages in a clip that hangs down from the removeable tail section of the rear mudguard. The stand has a strong spring and comes up with some authority.
