Does any member know of any suppliers, parts dealers etc that would have a 3/4" (19mm) drive, straight kick start lever for a Sturmey Archer CS gearbox? I have trawled the net from Australia to Austria....nothing.

After nine years, I have not been able to find a rear mudguard for my 57 Model 50. I came to the conclusion last year that the wideline version was near enough to work with and guess what: can't find one anywhere.
Sorry if this fact is now commonly known, but I am still unsure.

I have just had my Atlas crankshaft back from regrinding. In spite of undelining the need for maintaining the journal end radiuses it has now hardly any radius at all....
Saw this photo on the NOG webpage. Is anyone aware if this silencer is available now even as a repop?

Hi all i have recently come into possession of two norton jubilees one being a deluxe and the other a standard model, years the seller advised were 1959 and 1960 but havent taken it so far as to get numbers checked as yet.
When oil becomes hot, its thin, like water. Does it really make much difference on an elderly single cylinder machine who's running components are mainly ball or roller bearings?
Does anyone know how heavy an SF Mk1 is. Can't find it in the manual nor factory website. I need to buy a bike lift and might buy on that copes with the 961 and older commando.

I have a small oil leak from one of the timing cover screws. strangely it is from the upper top right one.

I am restoring a 1935 ES2 and have found my bore is at +40 and do not have a suitable piston to suit a re-bore.
I think engine oil is leaking into the primary chain case as when I remove the primary chain case oil level nut the oil is often black and I might get an egg cup full amount of oil out after each ride?

I have mostly got my 1951 ready to ride, but I am unsure of which tyres to put on it. It is rigid back end with long road holders. 19" front and rear wheels.

Just been reading the review of the new Triumph Thruxton Bonneville R, In this country it costs £11,700, in the USA it costs $14500 that equates to £10,098 £1,602 cheaper.
I looked for torque figures for the Dominator, found some in my Haynes manual:
