2BA helicoil for points in the timing cover

Hi

Does anyone have a helicoil set for 2BA? Usually swap things like this with other branch members but nobody has one.

If not I will bite the bullet & put a set on the shelf.

I had to helicoil a few 2BA threads on a 250 Triumph. I used 10-32 helicoils. They are cheap and available and the screws are indistinguishable from 2BA to the naked eye.

Also made it easy to switch to Allen screws.

Interesting idea however in my case it's the pillar threads that have gone. So not for this application but definitely one to save.

Rgm sell,s the full kit £30 not cheap but you get everything needed
