my 72 roadster came with tt100 replica,s but due to storage the sidewalls have some cracking,having chucked a few down the road when younger,(still feel all )what and where would be the best new compound to fit thanks guys

My personal feeling is that Avon AM26 Roadriders are far ahead in terms of grip, stability and neutral steering than anything that was available at the time.

I shall be fitting another set next time around.

I to can vouch for Avon Roadrider they are so good that you don't give them a second thought at no time do they give you cause to worry about if they will do the job. You just ride as hard as you like and they stay firmly attached to the road

Absolutely, I switched from Avon Roadrunners to the AM26 Roadriders a few years ago & have no intention of switching back!

I'm using 100/90/19 (there have been lots of discussions on sizes, but that's what works for me).

would that size work on 72 roadster options ???the maxis mentioned are nice an cheap ???and thxs to all agian

100/90/19 will fit front and back but a 90/90/19 on the front will give quicker steering which is especially good on an 850 with its more stable front end geometry.
